FOR THE NEXT few months, I’ll be ‘lying low’, so to speak, as I finish up three books, edit two, and try to map out the remaining five books that are in my head. I’ll continue to write the occasional article, and I’ll share the microphone with my wonderful husband Derek most Sundays on PID Radio, but for the most part, I will be keeping a low profile.
With all that’s happening in the world, I feel a huge spiritual leading to get the work out of my head and onto the page. The only way to do this is to stop most other activities until the work is done.
As part of this, I don’t check my email more than once a day. And I won’t be answering email unless that note requires a reply. Which brings me to my gargantuan ‘to answer’ folder; I’m way behind on replies, so please forgive me if you’re waiting for one. Eventually, I will answer them all, but the pace will be slow.
For those who are interested, I will be sending out weekly email ‘blasts’ as updates on the books. If you’re interested in receiving these emails, sign up by clicking here.
I truly appreciate every person who takes the time to send me a link, a comment, or a suggestion. Derek and I feel like we’re part of a wonderful virtual family. We love you all — so, thanks for understanding why I’m ‘out of touch’ for now.
Pleeeeeaaaase finish the next book as soon as you can …… I can not get enough! Thanks
I am an author too. My second novel, “Corpses and Canyons” is now available from Amazon.Com where I found your name and the title of your books. I found them by doing a search on my name (Don Yarber) and found that you used it in The Armeggedon Strain. I am curious if you know that name or just picked it out of the blue.
My family originated in NC and migrated through Tennessee to Southern Illinois. I was born in 1936 in Harrisburg, Illinois.
It would be nice to hear from you and to know where you picked the name for your Major Don Yarber.
Author of “Bodies and Beaches” and “Corpses and Canyons”
Currently writing “Death and Deep Waters”.
