[W]ell, this confirms what I’ve been saying about the Ebola story suddenly disappearing from the media. Apparently, the CDC requires that reporters actually call in for the numbers–rather than assuming the numbers posted on the CDC website reflect all current cases. Attkinson did call, and says she was told there are 1400 cases being monitored in the US.
Say what? So, where’s all the media attention? Directed toward Sony’s hack attack and North Korea at present. Classic misdirection, isn’t it?
Keep your eyes peeled for articles sometime in February. That’s when I suspect we may seen another round in the news–after the holidays and the Super Bowl are past.
